EW - First look - Water for Elephant Stills ....

We've seen these in magazine scans but these are HQ...and adorable. Cannot wait for this movie ~ B

SOMEONE'S NOSING IN ON BELLA'S TERRITORY

Even with Reese Witherspoon and Robert Pattinson on board, the biggest star inWater for Elephants is the one who plays Rosie, the 9,000-pound pachyderm. But it seems that even the elephant was on Team Edward. —BS

ROBERT PATTINSON AND REESE WITHERSPOON STAR IN WATER FOR ELEPHANTS

Witherspoon, who portrays horse trainer Marlena in the film adaptation of Sara Gruen's 1930s-set best-seller (out April 22), had stiff competition for the spotlight, seeing as she's starring opposite a Twilight vampire. ''I've never seen anything like it,'' she says of the hoopla over Pattinson, who plays the circus vet. ''There were 200 girls standing on the edge of the set screaming. It reminds me of when Leo was in Titanicand he couldn't go anywhere without screaming girls.'' —Benjamin Svetkey

Bryce Dallas Howard first celebrity face of Kate Spade

KATE PICKS BRYCE:
For the first time in the company’s 18-year history, Kate Spade will feature a celebrity in its advertisements, beginning this spring. The actor in question,
Bryce Dallas Howard
, also happens to be a brand devotee. “The Kate Spade offer came up and I kind of lost my mind. There’s something about that brand that, from a young age, I really, really, really connected with. It was always the thing I wanted for Christmas…since I was 15 or 16,” said Howard. “It represents a lifestyle that I always really loved.…It’s my first experience [in an ad campaign]. But I wouldn’t have been good otherwise.…It just would have been obvious if I weren’t into the brand.”

Deborah LLoyd, president and chief creative officer of Kate Spade, said, “We’ve been looking for someone to have a partnership with, as opposed to a flirtation. We loved her, and that she grew up with the brand.…She’s not just a pretty face. She’s a multitalented woman, which represented the brand very well.”

The quirky, neon-hued advertisements feature Howard in head-to-toe Kate Spade (“except for the nail polish,” said Lloyd) in playful poses on roller skates, riding a bike and shouting into a bullhorn. “It was so much fun, it was all the things that I like to do: bike riding, a lot of dancing, hopping around, being playful and fun, and nothing felt at all staged,” Howard insisted.

The ads prominently display the company’s latest handbag silhouette, the Scout satchel, in various bright hues and sizes.

Beyond her modeling duties, Howard has a full schedule as of late, thanks to her toddler son, Theodore, in addition to the four films she’s starring in, writing and producing.

WFE, Abduction & On the Road - intriguing movies storylines for 2011

The "Twilight" crowd, the morning after: They've branched out into other roles before. But 2011 will bring moments of truth for all three lead actors in the "Twilight" franchise: Robert Pattinson in the period circus drama "Water for Elephants" (coming in April), Taylor Lautner in the teen fugitive thriller "Abduction" (coming in September) and Kristen Stewart in the adaptation of Jack Kerouac's "On the Road" (date TBD). The last two movies in the franchise that made them famous are shooting now. Which of the trio can fashion the most productive post-Forks career?

Empire Magazine 2011 Preview...

Smelling salts at the ready, because April 22 sees the return of the mighty R.Pattz in Water For Elephants. Pattinson plays a veterinary student who throws in his studies after the death of his parents and runs away, finding himself in a traveling circus. There he falls for Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) - which would be fine were it not for her violent husband August (Christoph Waltz). This is based on the novel of the same name, is not a sequel to Like Water For Chocolate, and looks set to be a more grown-up effort for the once and future Edward Cullen.

It's the Big One on November 18, which sees Edward and Bella finally get it on in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. The fourth instalment will cover only the first half of the fourth (and final) Twilight book, and sees vampire Edward (Robert Pattinson) and human Bella (Kristen Stewart) finally tie the knot and go on honeymoon. However, some complications soon turn up in the shape of an unplanned pregnancy and…well, we'll say no more. But at least in this Twilight movie the plot might actually move forward for once. Fans will still have to wait until 2012 for the big finale, but that just gives them extra time to dream of Edward / Jacob / Bella (delete as appropriate) so they probably consider that a bright side.
